THE LINDEN PROGRAM

MAP Angels

PROGRAM OVERVIEW

As part of our intergenerational mission, we established a two-pronged program for young artists: the Linden Cultural Internship (for recent graduates) and the Linden Documentation Fellowship (for early-career filmmakers). By bringing young people with artistic backgrounds into the MAP program, we aim to expose the next generation of artists to Mediterranean traditions of intercultural, interdisciplinary, and intergenerational exchange. By participating in programming, socializing with guests at meals and sharing their own artistic work, Angels make valuable connections with our guests and with one another.

Each MAP conference offers up to 10 Linden Intern positions for week-long sessions and two Linden Fellow positions for the entire, two-week duration of programming. Participants in the Linden Program are compensated for travel, provided with accommodation and a small daily stipend. Interns assist with all aspects of logistics and guest hospitality, including meal service, set up and breakdown of programming facilities, driving responsibilities and other administrative tasks. Fellows work with MAP documentarian Omer Manor on cinematography, still photography, A/V needs during the program and editing.
