Tomer Slutzky is a documentary director, cinematographer, and editor whose work blends investigative journalism with personal storytelling. His films explore state secrecy, buried histories, and family legacies across generations. His latest film, Jews by Choice (2024), follows a group in a Czech town reviving Jewish life through conversion. He also directed Bronca! (2023), about a father and son confronting an Argentinian war criminal hiding in Israel. Tomer shot Murky Skies (2022, Arte/ZDF), and since October 7 has covered the Israel–Hamas war for ABC News, winning a 2024 Emmy. He is currently directing The Alarmist, about politician Stav Shaffir.
